These followers of the Forgotten God, think you are the bad guys. As there is no convincing them otherwise, you'll have to kill them. They can cast some nasty spells, so try to hit them with missile weapons and get a fighter at close range as fast as possible. This should interrupt there spell casting ability enough to make it possible for you to kill them.
